Trust & transparency

Editorial policy

Victorem publishes practical, evidence-aware sports-nutrition education for endurance athletes. Every article is written or reviewed by a named person, and the byline distinguishes authorship from clinical review.

Who creates the content

Jena Brown, RD, CSSD, LD, is Victorem's clinician of record. An article may also be written by a dietetic intern or contributor. When that happens, the contributor is credited as the author and Jena is separately credited as the reviewer.

Sources and AI assistance

Articles may draw from peer-reviewed research, professional guidance, and Jena's clinical and athletic experience. References are listed when they materially support the article. AI may help organize or adapt approved source material, but it is not treated as a factual source and nothing is published without human review.

Medical boundaries

Blog content is educational and does not diagnose, treat, or replace individualized care. Nutrition needs vary with health history, medications, training, environment, and goals. Readers should work with an appropriate credentialed professional for personal recommendations.

Updates and corrections

Health and performance guidance changes. Articles display meaningful update and review dates, and higher-risk topics are placed on a recurring review schedule. Corrections that change the substance of an article are published promptly.

Commercial transparency

Victorem may link to its own services or to outside resources. Any affiliate relationship or material commercial connection is disclosed where it appears; editorial recommendations are not sold.
